Arthroscopy on knee
Hi all,
I am new to this site and have joined hoping for help, advice and guidance from anybody that has had a Arthroscopy while having Osteoarthritis? as I have a total rear / medial meniscus root tear which sometimes locks and gives me a lot of pain at the back of my knee.
I am only 52 years old. I think I need a partial knee replacement?

Hello @inkster and welcome to the community. We are a friendly and supportive group and I hope that that will be your experience as well.
I understand that you have Osteoarthritis and that you are suffering from knee pain. Have you had the Arthroscopy or waiting for it?
Our website has a lot of information and a useful search function and you might find some useful information in it, I've pasted a couple of links below which may be of help.
Please do keep posting and let us know how you are getting on and I am sure others will connect with you and share their experiences as well, and about the arthroscopy procedure. The NHS website has an article on this which might help.
With very best wishes
