Hi @Flacky1970 - welcome to the online community!
I see you're looking for information on how arthritis interacts with depression.
As someone who has both arthritis and semi-regular depression, this is a subject I have a lot of empathy for. Do know that you can come here and talk about anything if that would help you. Arthritis can have quite a profound effect on depression, as you can feel like you're being let down. The good news is you're not alone, and talking can help a lot.
If you feel the need to get professional help the NHS do have a mental health team, and you get get referred - or sometimes refer yourself - through your local GP surgery. This can let you get counselling and CBT therapy on the NHS, which can help.
Versus Arthritis have some information which may be of use:
We also have a page on Emotional Wellbeing with more information on:
- Common emotions
- Emotions and your symptoms
- Your relationships
- Building a good frame of mind
- Accepting help when you need it
Do talk and have a look around on the community. Everyone is always willing to listen and help as much as we can. You're not alone.
Lovely to meet you!
