Anyone had MTX trigger a latent infection shingles, coldsore, glandular fever?

Each of these latent pathogens can remain long forgotten for decades in a suppresed immune system to emerge & cause havoc.
I just wondered if anyone has gone through this with MTX or adulimumab ?

I haven't and I'm sorry if this has happened to you. I've had nothing but good from methotrexate. I'd had breast cancer some years before starting it and it certainly didn't trigger a renewal of that. It is important, though, that we give a wide berth to anyone with shingles or chicken pox.
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.
