Hello All,

Feel a little alone where I am and being in my early 30s struggling to walk with Arthritis on my feet and Fibro pain.

Feel like each day it gets worse and feels odd to have to be using a walking aid more often.

Do other people use walking aids from Osteo Arthritus in toes? Some days I am so tired I cant get out of bed.

Thank you for reading this.

Hello to you @Se1ina welcome to the Online community.

I am so glad you have found the community because there is no need to feel alone now. Everyone here understands your struggles with pain.

I am going to attach a couple of links while you wait for someone to come along and share their experience with you. The first is about Osteoarthritis of the foot and ankle (apologies if you know all this already) :

The second is an old thread on the subject of walking sticks as you say it feels odd to be needing to use yours more often:

Finally some information about fatigue as you say some days you are too tired to even get out of bed:

    Very best wishes Se1ina

    Ellen.

You could try asking your GP to refer you to an orthotist. Custom made orthotic insoles might help.

I used to use my sons' prams and push chairs as walking aids😉

If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Thank you Stickywicket. I find it is tricky to be assertive with my GP, but I will try this. Do you use walking aids outside the house?

I don't think you need to be assertive. Just explain how wobbly you are and say someone suggested that an orthotist might be able to help with insoles. Ask what he thinks. Worth a try.
