PSA, HS and Oestoarthritis - recently diagnosed
Hi all, I was diagnosed with PSA (inflammation mostly in the hands and elbows) and Oestoarthritis in the knees. I just started Amgevita-TNF blocker injections and habe found it great so far in keeping the inflammation down. I've joined this forum to help educate myself more and how best to manage and help myself with these big health changes. Thanks

Hi @Shivs
Thank you for getting in touch with us at Versus Arthritis. You are right, these are big health changes but it's good to hear that you have found an injection that seems to be helping you for now.
Inflammation anywhere is irritating, but the hands can be particularly frustrating once it starts there because you suddenly realise how much you actually need them for! You can find some of our information on elbow pain here, including ways of managing symptoms:
There are also some exercises here, tailored specifically for people with arthritis:
Osteoarthritis is quite common in the knee joint an can be extremely painful. We have the following advice and information that may be of some use to you, with further links to the 'Let's Move with Leon' programme.
I do hope that some of these are useful to you, but if not come back and get in touch again! Please feel free to venture around the online community and join in where you feel comfortable. We are a friendly bunch here and there are always people willing to share their experiences or lending a listening ear!
Take care,
Sarah
