How did you all get on after your steroid injections please? My first was yesterday in my knee. I did find it very very painful and I nearly passed out! He aspirated fluid off first then injected cortisone with hyaluronic acid as he said it gives better results for OA.

I was advised to rest for 48hrs. I’m doing that but can’t perform the exercises he suggested as my knee is too stiff and painful today. If anything my knee feels worse not better as yet. I understand it’s early days and these injections don’t always work with everyone.

Im interested to know how long it took for the steroid to work? Was the swelling helped by the injection? Did anyone get good results? More movement and less pain?
