Just joined
Hi everyone. I joined this forum to gain insight, help, tips on how to manage my symptoms and also to share what helps me.. I am only 47 and have OA in Right knee and its starting in my left knee. The pain is so bad at night and i now do the shuffle downstairs (not a good look) Waiting for an eternity for hospital appt. Anyway.. moan over. Hello 👋

I understand you have osteoarthritis in your knees which is resulting in strong pain at night and makes stairs more difficult to manage. @Pollydolly74 Hi there, just wondered what meds you are on? Did the OA result after RA?
It’s so sad that you have to go through this. I have painful knees & elbows from RA, and use icepack wraps to chill them and feel its getting better, at least temporarily

Very much hope you get your outpatients apt soon.
I have both inflammatory and osteoarthritis and find heat (microwaved wheatbags) the very very best for my joints.
