Sulphasalazine

Hey new to all.of this, I have been on sulphasalazine for 4 weeks now and am still in great pain every morning, need to begin reducing my steroids from 5 a day too but when I try so far the pain is too much. I am 35 and have reactive arthritis and am struggling to see past the pain now.

I am hoping it gets better as the book advises 12 weeks until it is in my system properly. Any support or advice would be great. Feeling very down at the moment.
