Hello - I'm new too
I stopped running more than 5 years ago due to arthritis-related knee pain, but am still OK cycling and walking - for which I'm incredibly grateful!
Unfortunately I'm now getting swelling/pain in finger joints, which is hard to ignore so I decided to take some action.
I've already found some helpful information about arthritis in hands via the link sent to the previous person's post, and look forward to reading more about other people's experiences, tips etc.

Hi @lizrobinson38 firstly let me welcome you to the forum I hope you find the information and support you are after from our wonderful community.
I can see from your post that you have been managing with knee pain for a long time and now experiencing finger pain also. As you stated you have seen some useful links around finger pain.
The site is full of information and I wanted to signpost you to some other sources on how to generally exercise with arthritis, as you mention being active, and also exercises for finger pain.
Please feel free to search the forum for others with similar experiences and I am sure that some of our community will be able to help offer some useful suggestions.
Take care and I hope you get some relief and answers soon.
Thanks
Joe
