Newly diagnosed arthritic Hips
I've had my X ray and it shows marked degeneration in both hips, it started early September after a five mile walk (a bit longer than normal but not exceptional) not had physical exam yet and awaiting physio appointment. Lots of variable pain in either or both his, top of thighs, groin and lower back. Can't take ibuprofen due to other meds. Looking for a bit more information and advice

Hello @Mozwal and welcome to the community. We are a friendly and supportive group and I hope that you find that as well.
I understand that you are experiencing pain in your hips and are awaiting further medical examinations and also looking for pain relief. Have you been to see your GP to see what alternatives there are to Ibuprofen? There may be others which you can take with other medications. In the meantime have a look around our website as it contains a lot of useful information you might find of help. I've put a couple of links in below which you could try.
Please do keep posting and let us know how you are getting on and I do hope that others will connect with you to share their experiences and thoughts as well
With very best wishes
Peter
