Repetitive work
Hi
I just wanted a bit of advised regarding doing repetitive work. I have osteoarthritis in both my hands and wrists. My right shoulder is now starting to give me trouble. I work in the family business. I wash and put new wraps on commercial freezers. This means I am constantly using my hands and a right to left movement in my arm as I complete tasks. The level of pain in my hands and swelling is definitely getting worse over time. I know it good to completed hand etc flexible and fit. However, I wanted to know if I am making my own situation worst by my work actions.

Hi @Happysandy
Welcome to the online community so glad you have found us and are seeking for advice on your Osteoarthritis in both wrists and hands and also due to your work your right shoulder is now very painful.
Here are two links that i think may help.It is very difficult to advise you on what your job may or not be doing to your Osteoarthritis,as it is your income and you may depend on it,but hopefully theses links will help in some way.
Please go onto our forums as everyone understands what you are going through,i myself have Osteoarthritis in hands and wrists but i am older 75 years old and dont have to work so i can keep my pain levels down by not doing too much.
find the above helps me.
All the best Christine
