Pillow recommendation

Hi! 👋

I’ve recently been diagnosed with RA & having trouble getting comfortable at night. I’m suffering with neck & shoulder pain which becomes worse as I’m a side sleeper. I’m looking for pillow recommendations for a better nights sleep.

TIA

I am a side sleeper too and have OA and a few other spinal conditions. I have spent £hundreds on pillow over the years, the best I have found so far is a V pillow which I tuck round the front and back of my neck. I still wake up screaming with neck pain but it is not as bad as it used to be.

IKEA do a range of pillows, I use one with radiuses on the edges, one larger than the other, concave on one side, convex on the other. It’s made of a slightly firmer material, it’s my life saver and supports my head and stopping excess pressure on my neck and shoulders.

I haven’t found anything similar from other manufacturers, there is definitely a market for these. This question has come up a lot, try a search for more opinions.

    its a grin, honest!

  • I use 2 feather pillows. My pillows have to be soft otherwise I can’t sleep
