I came off steroids and then my feet swelled up. Its a real nuisance I can only hobble about. I had to buy a size larger wide fit shoes.I started hydrating and managed to get my thirst response back. But still those feet are swollen. I engaged the footrest on the settee today so I must be getting desperate. Any ideas. I ache in all the same places but I'm so close to being comfortably fit and well. I really don't want to go back onto steroid unless I must.

Booked in with the Rheumatology to take a look. Feet swollen even bigger and flare ups don't make a difference. Looks like its going to be water retention. Sigh.

I'm glad to see that you've managed to get booked into rheumatology for them to have a look. I wonder if you are retaining water? Hopefully you will get some answers soon. I'm not sure what your knowledge of steroids is but here is a link to some VA information that may be of interest to you :
