Total knee replacement 5 days ago

My leg is very swollen and bruised making it stiff and painful. This is making physio very difficult. Is this normal at this stage?

Any helpful suggestions

Hi @Shadrach firstly let me welcome you to the forum I hope you find the information and support you are after from our wonderful community.

I can see from your post that you have recently had a knee replacement but are concerned about some of the symptoms you are suffering with postop.

Breathless

Had both knees replaced 2017. Very sore and swollen for about 5 -6 weeks. Physio was tricky but stick with it. Best thing I ever did. Just wish I had done it sooner. Be brave.
