GP's
Is anyone one else having trouble getting their GP to understand how arthritis affects everyday life or even to try help manage the symptoms ?

Hello @CTT and welcome to the online community,
As many of us have found out, sometimes people who have not experienced living with arthritis find it difficult to understand the challenges we can face. Unfortunately, sometimes even our GP’s don’t understand, and it seems that’s the case with your GP. I’m sure that other members will have suggestions about how they explain their symptoms, and will be happy to share them with you.
While you wait for members to respond, perhaps you might like to read the page below from the Versus Arthritis website. It explains what a GP is, and also has some suggestions about how to talk to your GP and how to get them to understand your symptoms:
Best wishes,
Anna ( Mod)
