Hello I’m new
Hello everyone, this is my first post.
I was diagnosed with Psoriatic Arthritis 6 months ago & would be grateful for any tips or advice on how to live with it. Whilst I wouldn’t consider myself as having very debilitating or severe arthritis, I have & still am finding very hard to accept & come to terms with.
I really struggle with fatigue, low mood & the never ending joint aches, it has made feel incredibly old. All help & advice gratefully received.
thank you in anticipation & I look forward to getting to know you all. Have a great day everyone.😊

Hi @CreakingPam
Welcome to the Versus Arthritis online community and thank you for asking for our support. I hope that you are not experiencing too many creaks today.
You tell us that you were diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis six months ago, which you don't see as being very debilitating or severe, but you say that it leaves you feeling old, fatigued, low and in pain.
I think many of us here have a good deal of insight into how you are feeling - there is a lot support available on here on those feelings from our members.
This is a link to the VA main page about psoriatic arthritis -
And this page shares some experiences of people who have PsA -
You mention that you are feeling old and low in mood - these are common reactions to arthritis and chronic illness - here are some ideas for encouraging a more positive outlook - https://www.versusarthritis.org/about-arthritis/managing-symptoms/emotional-wellbeing/
Thank you again for contacting us - I hope you will return regularly to share experiences of living with arthritis.
Very best wishes
