News from clinic
Today, nearly 5 months after having X-rays which showed degeneration of part of my spine, hips and knees I finally had a face to face appointment at the MSK clinic with a lovely physio. My only interaction with medics before then has been 5 minute phone calls about pain relief. And a not so subtle ‘message’ about being 76 and therefore what do you expect?
She went through my X-rays and said which were the one to be concerned about which was in particular my left knee and lower back. Not much can be done about back but her view was that I need a knee replacement in my left knee, followed probably by my right knee eventually.
It was so good to see someone in person after all this time. I am seeing her again in a month and think I will pursue the replacement idea.
