I have just been diagnosed with arthritis in my lower back. No great surprise as I have had stiffness for many years. Any advice gratefully received.

You may already know this, that Exercise is one of the best ways to help with the pain of arthritis. You have to start very slowly and gently, and only do what feels comfortable, but just small stretches can make a difference.
