Waiting for operations has been the hardest thing I have ever had to do
I know because of Omicron the waiting times have been held back for operations But it’s enough to make you go mental to be honest or end your life as I have been waiting now 47 weeks on 2 waiting lists for spinal fusion as I have spinal stenosis and a 3rd left knee replacement. I went to My Dr as my knee was hurting worse 6 weeks ago and she sent me for xray at hospital phoned to get result they said nothing has changed same as before corrosion and inner bone crumbling and as my local hospital is going to be another years wait she has transferred me to another hospital & I’m having it replaced in the next 11 weeks hasp my pre assesment 2 weeks ago the surgeon there looked at my X-ray I had done from my local hospital and said no wonder your in pain your knee replacement is completely loose in there like a pram moving around with this and the pain I’m getting from my back every day is a challenge and waiting for my operations has been so very hard for me to cope with in so much pain I was originally have my spine done 1st as it’s excruciating pain never ever had pain like it I have got now that I don’t know what that will feel like after my op to not have that pain anymore in my brain 🧠 I think it has become fixed in there from my stenosis constant buzzing feeling Just pleased that at long last and alot of pushing and phone calls I can finally see things start to move I know everyone’s pain is different & I send everyone 💕🤗💖
