Arthritic thumb (basal joint)

Hi, I have had an arthritic thumb for approximately 3.5 years. Treatment from GP poor and delays getting seen because of the long waiting list due to Covid. Difficult times for anyone needing treatment.

Has anyone had the same and what treatment has been the best, including medication?
