Hello I'm a newbie
Hello I'm a newbie, I was told a while ago I had the start of Arthritis, then 3 weeks ago I was at A&E because my knee and hip on the right side was so painful. I had x-rays to show the damage my knee is bad but, my hip is that of a 90 year old, I am nearly 64. I was shocked, I have fibromyalgia and degeneration of my spine, it's a lot to take in, I cannot get out much now although I have a car but, cannot drive it. I have been told to not go out on my own, and I have been supplied with a toilet frame and high seat, grab rails and a Zimmer frame. I cannot believe the pain that we get and I'm always tired but, cannot sleep much at night.
Thank you

Welcome to the forum @Aberdeenchick k. I see that you started arthritis some time ago, but a recent A&E visit revealed significant deterioration in your hip. You also have degeneration of your spine and fibromyalgia.
Here are some links to information on our website which I hope you will find useful:
Have you asked your GP for a referral to a pain clinic?
I hope that you have good fortune in finding relief for your symptoms. Keep visiting the forum and let us know how you get on.
