Hi @Outoftime2020 how are you getting on?

I understand you are in constant pain from rheumatoid arthritis and take co-codamol as a way of coping with this. How can we help you?

There is some good information on managing pain on our web site that might be of some help:

It may well be worth exploring getting a referral to a pain management specialist through your GP.

Since you have had such long experience, what have you found that works best for you?

Do join in across the Community, say how you are getting on and also give support and advice. You will be most welcome.

    All best wishes

    Nice to meet you @Outoftime2020

I am quite concerned that you have had rheumatoid arthritis for 30 years and are only on Co-codamol for it. Have you ever 'seen anyone' about it other than your GP? If it's rheumatoid arthritis I would have thought you would have seen a rheumatologist at least once and would be within your rights to ask to see one.

Brymor's suggestion about referral to pain management (pain clinic) might be a good way forwards for you too.

    Take care
