Cervical osteoarthritis

Hi, I am new to this community as am just into week 9 of a cervical arthritis flare up. Have only had two before and the last one was 5 years ago and disappeared after a few weeks. Am beginning to think I will have to live with this constant pain in my neck which came from now where a week before christmas.

Fies this sound familiar to anyone and does anyone have any words of wisdom?
