Anyone had stomach problems whilst taking Meloxicam? Was ok to start but now having frequent stomach problems

Hi @Nicj

I take Meloxicam and know it has side effects which include stomach disorders. For this reason I also take omeprazole daily too which reduces stomach acidity to help to relieve these problems. If you aren't taking these (there are more than one - the family is the proton pump inhibitors) It might be worth getting in touch with your GP to share information about your stomach problems and see if they suggest a medication similar to Omeprazole.
