Managing osteoarthritis
Hi all, I have osteoarthritis for the last 20 years , have had surgery for resurfacing of both hips 17 years (left hip) ago and 14 years (right hip). Also gave me joint in my right thumb and joint removed from left thumb. I would say my hands give me a lot of pain but been having a systemic injection of cortisone into my bottom, which certainly does help. I would be grateful for any advice on this matter thanks Twinky

Hello @Twinky and welcome to the community. We are a friendly and supportive group and I hope that that will be your experience as well.
I understand that you have osteoarthritis in your hips and hands and are looking for advice. Our website has a lot of useful information and I would recommend having a look around it. To help I've put a couple of links in below which you might find of use.
We also have a Helpline who might be able to offer help
In the meantime please do keep posting and let us know how you are getting on, and I am sure that others will connect with you to share their experiences and support as well.
