Hi my name is Jayne,
I have recently been diagnosed with osteoarthritis affecting my shoulder, neck and hand the pain at times is piercing that's the only way i can describe it. I find the things I used to do much more challenging getting dressed drying my hair doing the ironing etc very painful. I've also got a swollen bursa don't know what that means but that plus the arthritis in my shoulder significantly affects moving my arm to the side stretching upwards and affects my sleeping if I'm lucky I get 3/4 hours a night. In all some days I feel quite depressed. But I am thankful my hips aren't affected so I can walk with ease.
I was also diagnosed with fybromyalgia 20 years ago.
