5 months of pain.
Hi new to this community,
I've had OA in my right knee since November 2021. 2 months of work.
1 steroid injection Christmas week, lasted 3 weeks! Due for MRI next week, x Ray before Christmas not shown level of pain.
Just flared up this week, very sharp pain in knee cap area. Very fed up, my mobility is getting worse for a 56 year old!

Hello @raphacondor, welcome to the online community! It's lovely to have you here.
I see that you have osteoarthritis of the knee and that you're dealing with a painful flare-up and decreased mobility. It's understandable to feel fed up, I hope following your MRI your doctor can work with you to find a treatment that works better for you, everyone is different. You'll find lots of people here that can relate to your situation so please do continue being involved in the online community. I've included some links you might find helpful:

Hello Sarah,
Thanks for your support, how accurate!! is the xray on the area of concern? I'm having pain more associated with a trapped nerve or even a fracture. Is this pain normally associated with OA of knee? I couldn't bear weight or walk for 3 weeks just before Xmas last year!
