What now
After a rheumatologist appointment because I had a bad reaction to methotrexate my rheumatologist seems to not want to see me as I would rather not take any more tablets wanting to look at a more holistic approach but don’t know who to talk to .. feeling very alone

Hello @Amanda64 and welcome to the community. We are a friendly and supportive group and I hope that you will find that as well.
I understand that you have had a bad reaction to methotrexate and looking for alternative approaches. Our website has a lot of useful information and I would suggest having a look at it and you can search on keywords as well. To help I've put a couple of links in below which may be of interest.
Please do keep posting and let us know how you are getting on and I am sure that others will connect with you to share their thoughts and experiences as well.
With very best wishes

Thanks for your post to the Helpline. I wonder if you'd like to be able to talk things over?
Here at the Helpline calls are free and in confidence. The freephone is 0800 5200520 Mon-Fri 9am-6pm.
A healthy lifestyle and complementary treatments alone may not be enough to control immune system problems which drive inflammatory types of arthritis, so in the fullness of time you may want to be able to have a fuller conversation about the pros and cons of treatment (and other drug options).
An evidence-based conversation can come from the rheumatology specialist nurse in particular. And we are here if you'd like some time to be listened to.

Hope we can help further.
All the best
