Aches and pain, plus fog of the brain.
Weary, woeful and weak. I take in plenty of exercise but sadly my body is saying no to the littlest of effort. That ramps up distress and fires up the tinnitus. Unhappy days....

Hello @robjones901 and welcome to the online community,
‘Weary, woeful and weak’ - what a very apt description of how you’re feeling at the moment. It sounds like you are doing all the right things but sometimes our bodies just don’t recognise that. It’s good to exercise, but some days you can give yourself a break and just relax, keep warm and pamper yourself a little bit. Not every day will be like this and you’ll feel able to start again. Having tinnitus is an extra challenge.
Im glad you’ve joined the online community. Everyone here has experienced the ups and downs of arthritis and can understand a little of what you’re going through. I’m sure there will soon be someone to come along and give you support.
The Versus Arthritis website has got a good page on how to look after your emotional well-being - perhaps you might find it helpful to have a look:
I’ve also posted a link to suggestions from members about how to exercise gently so that you don’t overdo it, but still keep mobile.
If you want to chat to someone about how you’re feeling, the Helpline is available from 9am-6pm every weekday. Their number is
0800 5200 520
The will offer you tailored advice and support and a sympathetic ear.
Do have a look round the forum and join in whenever you feel comfortable.
