Hearing a diagnosis of osteoarthritis can be quite overwhelming, and it’s not surprising that you are struggling to take it all in. If there’s one thing that members of the online community understand, it’s that feeling of confusion that accompanies the diagnosis. You’re among friends here, and all our members have experienced living with arthritis and I’m sure will come and support you.

Versus Arthritis website has a page especially for people who have just been diagnosed. You might like to look through it - it talks about what treatments are available and how to adapt to your condition. It also has personal stories of people who were diagnosed with arthritis; how they dealt with the diagnosis and how they came to terms with their new life:
