Medication (NSAID’s) for osteoarthritis
Hi everyone! I’m Maxine and have just joined the forum, I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis a couple of months ago. I also am a life long sufferer of Crohn’s disease so have to be very careful what NSAID’s I am able to take. I was originally prescribed Celebrex tablets by the rheumatologist but I had an anaphylactic type reaction to it so I had to discontinue immediately and have now been taking Etodolac for about 5 weeks. I didn’t know whether I was expecting it to work immediately but haven’t really seen any improvement in my pain? Does anyone know of anything else that may be more effective that I can discuss with my GP?
Thanks
