Osteoarthritis and painrelief

Hello

My name is Donna I'm 43 and am new to this site, it was reccommended to me by my specialist. I have a history of osteoarthritis in my feet. I had the fusion of the navicular joint in my right foot a couple of years ago, I am on the waiting list for the left foot now.

In the last week I have also been diagnosed with ostoarthritis in multiple areas of my spine and neck.

I am currently taking regular strong painkillers and am resigned to the fact that this is something I am just going to have to come to terms with.

I had gastric bypass surgery 10 years ago, the specialist feels that this has contributed to the rapid decline as my capacity to absorb nutrients and minerals is severely limited.

I guess I'm just looking for good news stories and hope that painkillers arent going to have to be the way forward forever more.

Thanks in advance

Donna x
