Painful lower back and knees.
I’ve found that visiting a chiropractor for soft tissue and deep tissue massage very beneficial. This ensures that joints are mobile and adjusted to maintain alignment and inflammation of ligaments and tendons eased out. At £50 a visit the cost is proving prohibitive. Is this sort of beneficial treatment available under the NHS or is there an alternative? Valium perhaps, a very good muscle relaxant.

Hello @Honeybee2022 and welcome to the community. We are a friendly and supportive group and I hope that you will find that as well.
I understand that you have found a chiropractor helpful but yes the £50s do mount up. To get help on the NHS I think you would need to talk to your GP and get a referral and also discuss pain relief. There are other pain management things you could look at, you could have a look at our website for hints and tips and I would recommend having a look around it. To help I've put in a couple of links below which may be of use.
Please do keep posting and let us know how you are getting on and I am sure that others will connect with you to share their thoughts and experiences as well.
With very best wishes
Peter
