Hello
My name is Eileen and I suffer from osteoarthritis, at the moment I am having a lot of pain, I am having physiotherapy for the pain in my neck shoulder and back which is due to finish on Wednesday as I will have had the allotted 6 sessions that you can receive on n.s.h although I'm still in pain and am quite concerned that when not receiving my regular appointment will get worse. I have been told to wear a soft neck collar and obviously will continue to do my exercises. I do also have arthritis in my knees, ankles, wrists and lower back and have suffered from astoarthritus for approximately 15 yrs, I am 63yrs old in a couple of weeks, retired but help out taking care of my grandchildren while their parents are working.

I understand that you have osteoarthritis in many of your joints and that your physio is due to stop. Our website has many hints and tips and I would suggest having a look around it, to help I've put a couple of links below which may be of help.
Please do keep posting and let us know how you are getting on and I hope that others will connect with you to share their support and experiences
With very best wishes
