Hello
Hello, I am a 68 year old female with osteoarthritis in both knees. I have had this condition for a long time and have pretty much learned to live with it. My GP referred me to a private hospital for an assessment. I had an X-ray to determine where the problem is and I was advised to order insoles to make me walk in such a way that I didn’t feel the pain so much. They worked and I am still wearing them. I take 2 paracetamol and 1 turmeric and black pepper capsules every morning. I can’t take anti inflammatory medication as I have a pacemaker fitted. I am not really able to exercise unless I hold onto a chair or similar as I have labrynthitis which affects my balance. So you can see I am a bit of a wreck lol, oh and I have had my left elbow replaced about 8 years ago. I have joined this community to keep up with new, up to date tips and advice to keep me at the level I am and maybe even improve my quality of life, thanks for reading
