Interested if people who have been diagnosed with arthritis of the hip, and who are runners, do you continue to jog/ run?

Hi @patsycollis, welcome to the online community! It's lovely to have you here.
I see you're interested in whether others with arthritis of the hip continue to run or jog - I don't have personal experience with this but hopefully someone will pop in with some insights and advice. I do know that it's important to keep your arthritic joints moving and your muscles strong. Although I'm sure ideally you want to keep up with your running, if you happen to be looking for alternative/additional forms of exercise with less impact on your hips and knees, many people with arthritis get a lot of benefit from cycling and swimming. And there are specific exercises on the VA website that are designed to help joint lubrication and strength, here's some links if you're interested:
Please do continue to engage in the online community, its good to talk :)
Best wishes, Sarah (moderator)
