Hello I'm Nikki and I'll be 60 this year, over the past 10 years or so I've been diagnosed with degenerative disc disease in my back, osteoporosis in my knees, arthritis in my hips and elbows, rheumatoid arthritis in some of my fingers and gouty arthritis in my toes !! As well as having heart and kidney problems. I'm really fed up at the moment especially as I'm desperate to loose some weight, as I think this might help reduce the pressure on my joints.....any advice will be great

Hello @Nikkisu Welcome to the Online Community. You do have a lot going on there with multiple health conditions. I see you are feeling fed up as you are desperate to lose weight to help reduce the pressure on your joints. not easy when you struggle with your mobility I know, but you are being very wise to try.

We have had people on here lose quite significant amounts of weight so it is possible and some of them have started their own thread/blog and gained a lot of support from other members.

This information might be useful to start you off:

I'll leave you meet our members now but look forward to hearing how you get on.

    Best wishes
