Hello ..it,s a bit scary when you first get told and I got really really frustrated at not doing the things I used to do..or if you try them you're in agony after it ...or people trying to get you to do activities thinking there helping you but .its not ..you will get angry ,frustrated.annoyed these are the top 3 emotions for me but you do learn wee tricks to help with the pain which makes it a bit better..I have osteoarthritis in both feet lower back and both hips . So I started swimming just moving about in the pool helps you don't need to swim..buy a tense machine put it on massage for 20 mins .a hot bath ..elevate you're feet when you've been out walking..a electric big slipper when it gets cold ..believe me that and thermal socks for the winter is a god send..but don't get discouraged plenty of people here to help you through it at any time .even if you just want a natter it's, cool hope this helps

My name is glenis and i was diagnosed about 6 month's ago ,on Thursday i am going for my first mri scan , must admit to being nervous ,have osteoarthritis in hands but now suffering with hip pain and back ache so hopefully will find out the problem
