Hello

I am wondering if anyone in this versus arithritis community meet up occasionally at a local restaurant or coffee shop.

I have recently had a hip replacement which has made a brilliant difference and I now have better movement and no pain in this hip. However I also have severe arithritis in my other hip and this other hip is causing me alot of pain. I am on the list to have the other new hip replaced and look forward to that. The nurses and doctors at the hospital who looked after me when I had my first hip replacement were exceptional and I will be forever grateful to them for caring and looking after me.

It is amazing what they can do and what a difference my new hip has made.

I still can't walk independently without crutches because of my other hip, by look forward to having that one replaced.

I also have pain in my arms, I think it is because of walking with crutches, but also some arithritis in my shoulders/neck

I have two sons, one who is working and one at college, I spend alot of time alone and feel lonely hoping that one day I can meet people to chat to. I also have ptsd, due to being violently assaulted. Even though this happened over 10 years ago. Over the years I have had a turmoil or mixed emotions, anger, tears, not understanding why I was treated like that. These days when I see specific things that bring back the memory of the assault, I feel tense and then later still feel sad, unhappy and cry because of the assault and the other violent people who treated me badly that led to that assault. I had not done anything to deserve being treated like that. I watch the news regularly and see that other people have also been treated badly and wrongly like me and this, also makes me cry, because they didn't deserve to be treated like that either.

I am a sensitive kind caring person I don't like to see anyone get treated badly by violence.

I would like to chat to a person/ people preferably not about what has happened to me, because this, will make me feel sad, but about everyday things, what is, going on in the world, fashion, music, animals, food, a wide variety of topics.

To get to know the person/people who may reply to my message. I like to get to know people and what their interests are.

Ideally I like to go out and enjoy a coffee in a local cafe with a like minded person/people.
