Hi, just joined the VA forum.

A bit about myself, I'm a wife, mum and grandma, also an ex carer for my mother.

My hobbies are reading, doing TAB magazine quizzes and Art, I'm not great at drawing or painting lol 😆 but have found Zentangle, Memphis and Nuerographic Art all of which don't need actual drawing skills so found my happy place in them.

I've had Arthritis since my late 40s getting on for 20 yrs now, started in my knee and hip, more recently arthritis of my hand's, coupled with other gait problems walking is very difficult, stairs are near impossible.

I guess most here know plenty about the ups and downs, debilitating pain and frustration of not being able to do all the things we'd like to do....how depressing that is etc. My husband is my rock, he does most of the housework and helps in other ways too I feel very thankful for his support and guilty too.

Hello @CherylD and welcome to the community. We are a friendly and supportive group and I hope that that will be your experience as well.

I understand that you have arthritis in your knee and hip and it has now started in your hands as well. Seems that you have a positive outlook though which is great.
