Hello and welcome to the forum, @Sharonb3442 . I see that you have recently been given a diagnosis of Osteo Arthritis, are waiting for treatment, but most disappointingly facing problems at work.

Firstly, here is some general information on your condition:

The subject of work and the treatment that is received from employers crops up frequently on the forum. Now that your post has been released following moderation, I am sure that you will have many responses. You may also like to talk to our Helpline Team 0800 5200 520

Employers are expected to make reasonable adjustments. Have you tried discussing this. If you go into such discussions with a positive attitude and some suggestions for what might help both you and your ability to work more effectively, hopefully you'll get a sympathetic response. If this doesn't happen and if you're a member of a trade union, the local rep. may be able to negotiate for you. Failing that, try the CAB. Some employers are ignorant of the law and some choose to ignore it, but you do have the right to ask for help. Good luck.
