My mobility is poor
hi iv been diagnosed for over 2 years and waiting for a full hip replacement for 2 years
I'm 55 I now have in most joints and live on morphine
iv found this really hard to handle as my mobility is so poor
sorry to be miserable
I throught this site might help me

Thank you for joining our Online Community, I'm sure this site will help you in many ways.
You have osteoarthritis I believe and have waited 2 years for a hip replacement. You are not alone in this, waiting times were long even before covid arrived to make things worse. We have collected some helpful links on one page to help you to manage while you are waiting
You are struggling with mobility, have you been able to explain to your GP how this is affecting you? I've seen you are on morphine, you could enquire if there are other forms of pain relief you could take alongside this. Physio could be helpful too so you protect your other joints as well as your hip.
I'm sure you will also find lots of advice as you look through the discussions here, there are a large number of members also waiting for surgery as well as those who cannot have surgery but who are limited in their mobility and have pain daily.
