Hi everyone I'm Sam, 53 mum of 4 nanny of 2 I've been mostly housebound for nearly 4 years since diagnosed with facet joint arthritis and other medical problems, I have OA in my shoulder and ankle, doctors have now sent a referral to the early arthritis clinic because of so much pain in my hands and inflammation markers are up in my bloods, is this because they think it's rhematoid arthritis? Really depressed about it as on so many drugs already x

Hi @Sammyc69 I am very pleased to meet you and welcome you to the online Community.
I see you have quite a few things going on for you including facet joint Arthritis and now have been referred to an early arthritis clinic as bloods have indicated higher than usual inflammatory markers..
You question is whether they are suspecting Rheumatoid Arthritis. Only your own Drs can really answer that, but I am gong to attach this link about investigations for you to look at:
