Joint pain from immunotherapy
Hi I wasn't sure if I should be here but lately iv been getting terrible joint pains especially in my hands I was hoping to get any suggestions on how to ease the pain? I'm currently on immunotherapy for Cancer & I was told this could be side effects from the treatment, anyway any advice would be greatly appreciated 👍 I'm only 48!😬

Hi @Rabz73 you are very welcome here indeed whether or not your joint pain turns out to be Arthritis or not.
I imagine you are in a difficult position already being treated for cancer so not all medications might be ok for you to take. I presume your cancer team have suggested this may be due to the treatment you are on?
This information may well be of use:
particularly the sections about self help and physical therapies. Many of our members use fairly simple remedies to ease their joints including warm wheatbags (the kind you microwave) or ice packs wrapped in teatowels.
Another idea might be to do some gentle exercise (if this is ok with your medical team):
Do have a look around and join in wherever you feel comfortable.
Best wishes
Ellen.
