Looking for the solutions!
Hi Jenny and Paul here, both suffering with Arthritis and looking for help and advise.
Although we read all the info on line we like to find out from our fellow members first hand, so here goes, are there any " no no " foods that we need to avoid but, better still are there foods that help?

Hello @Leopard and welcome both to the community - we don't usually get joint members! We are a friendly and supportive group and I hope that you will find that as well.
I understand that you both have arthritis and are looking for info on foods etc. You say that you read all info - have you had a look at our website? It contains articles on diet and supplements as well as info on how arthritis affects us, treatments, hints and tips and so on. To help I've put a couple of links in below which may be of use.
Please do keep posting and let us know how you are getting on and I am sure that others will connect and share their support and experiences as well
With very best wishes
Peter

Hi guys. I've been on the carnivore diet for a while now and it's really reduced the pain and inflammation. I still compete as a powerlifter so my body takes a real pounding. The consultant wanted to replace both my shoulders but I said no as I still lift and my mental health would suffer too much if I didn't. I'm not claiming its a miracle cure but I'd say I'm in 40 to 50 percent less pain. The other thing that helps is cbd oil but you have to get the right stuff. I get mine from a friend in Sweden who makes it.

Hi @Simonyates
Welcome to the Online Community, it's great to see you.
So you have arthritis and have found a way for you to reduce your inflammation and therefore pain etc. That's excellent, I'm glad it's working.
We have information on CBD oil here
I appreciate it won't be of much benefit to you but it may be to any readers of your post.
This link may be interesting, it's about research being undertaken now into the links between sport and OA
Please post anywhere you can offer a word of support, it's amazing how much better we feel if we know someone has listened to us and responded positively, even if they don't have an answer!
Take care
Yx
