To be honest, Galaxy, I think we can easily lose 2k in 2 days as there are so many variables between machines, what we are wearing and even time of day. If you follow some of the dietary suggestions quite a few of us made in your previous thread I think you will gradually start to gain weight.

Also, arm pain can, and often does, come from the shoulders. Here are Versus Arthritis' shoulder exercises. You will probably be unable to do many of them but do what you can, starting slowly, gently and frequently and you'll start to see an improvement. Not using joints is bad for them and only makes things worse.

If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Both of my shoulders are worn out and hurt, the muscle gets swollen and squeezed between the bone and the pain goes down the arm to its final attachment point towards the elbow. It’s easy to overuse the shoulder, exercise should be within the l8mits of your pain. I find a nice hot warm encourages me to move mine, a hot wheat bag helps, just keep using it all evening and gently move your shoulder, painkillers and analgesic creams do help and it’s a mix of treatments that work .

    its a grin, honest!
