Medication advice please !

Hi there

I have just joined versus arthritis and I am in desperate need of some medication advice. I was diagnosed about 2 months ago and I am currently taking prednisolone, I was given methotrexate to start also but I didn't start them because I didn't like the fact that they hamper your immune system. I'm learning that most do, unfortunately for us but just in a real tiz about what to do when I go to my appointment next Thursday. I need to have a plan by then so I can start one of these meds, I am looking at starting sulfasalazine but any information you can give me would be most welcome and appreciated
