Diagnosed with several areas of osteoarthritis three years ago, has reduced my ability to work properly, I'm a carpenter, joiner and can't hold tools properly or for very long. I have generally given up that type of work and have a part time job as a bar manager, not as much fun and frustrating! Having been into sports from a young age and in the Army for 12 years and worked hard since then, to suddenly not being able to get up and moving and doing the things you like to do is annoying and makes me angry and moody at times.

Hello @Raptor, welcome to the online community! It's lovely to have you here.
I see that you have OA and that you're living with reduced mobility that has changed the kinds of work and activities you're able to do. It's understandable that your mood is affected by this, you're not alone in how you're feeling, and you've come to the right place to talk with people who can empathise.
I've found a couple of links that you might find interesting:
Please do keep popping back in and keep us updated on how you're getting on.
Best wishes, Sarah (moderator)
