Hello @jasles and welcome to this lovely forum. You may be experiencing referred pain from your knee, ie nerve endings firing off in your leg generally. I used to get pains all down my leg from arthritis in my hip (hip now replaced). This included an awful burning sensation in my shin. Has your GP prescribed any pain relief for you? If so you could try taking some pain relief before you go to bed to help you through the night. You could also experiment with cushions or pillows in bed to prop your knees in a comfortable position - I found this really helped with my hip.
