    Hello @Hillman

Welcome to the online community and thank you for joining us. I hope that you will find this a friendly space where you will continue to share with us all.

So have been diagnosed with osteoarthritis in your right knee around mid March of this year. You are a polio survivor and have post polio syndrome. Your right knee is what you consider to be your good leg as it is not affected by the polio but now that you have had this diagnosis, your mobility may be a lot worse. You were wondering if anyone here was in a similar situation.

I have to admit, I was not familiar with post polio syndrome until today when I read your post and then did some research into it and the symptoms you may be presented with. I understand that having this syndrome and having had this new diagnosis may be very frustrating for yourself.

Im sure if anyone is in a similar situation, then they will respond to your post here.

I have included some information on osteoarthritis of the knee below as well as hints and tips on managing your pain. I hope they will be of help to you.

Please do let us know how you are getting on and do continue to keep getting involved. We're always looking to make new friends.

    Take care

    Hi @Hillman

I have had a nee replacement but can only imagine having post polio syndrome as well. I hope you have a good health team around you who will realise this needs to be treated as quickly as possible.

Sending some strength and support your way
